A cutting edge treatment...
We have found that constant negative thoughts create false alarms in the body resulting in reactionary and reflexive dysfunctional behaviors. “Why can’t I just…”
NEUROLEASE™ untangles accumulated toxic emotions and physical discomfort held in the body.
When a person endures a stressful experience their nervous system can become stuck in the fight, flight, freeze cycle.
Tired of still talking about the same problem without feeling any better?
Do you feel like your life should be easier?
Do you find yourself repeatedly behaving in ways you know are problematic yet are unable to stop yourself?
Does the mere thought of talking about a problem scare you into bottling up further?
Are you tired of just surviving?
To help our patients transition from surviving to thriving
A healthy sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous system can transition from…
During the treatment, the body receives information from the brain that there is a threat. The body reports back that it does not see, hear or feel any present threat. The mind then realizes that the traumatic experience happened in the past and there is nothing the body needs to do.
NEUROLEASE™ provides a means for the body to rebound from surviving to thriving. When the body does not rebound from a state of stressful activity, the sympathetic nervous system becomes overwhelmed, moving from productive to destructive. The result? An anxious, depressed, poorly regulated and weak body.
What To Expect
A Licensed Counselor meets with you to develop a targeted treatment plan.
A Licensed Massage Therapist welcomes you to the massage room for instructions and preparation. Treatment takes place on a traditional massage table. (For minors, guardians must be present.)
The Licensed Counselor guides you through the “thinking” part of the treatment while the Licensed Massage Therapist guides your body through the “feeling” part of the treatment. Verbal response from the client is minimal.
We are not creating anything new. We are bringing back what the person lost.
Jakki Bosco, Co-Founder
IS THIS A MASSAGE?
No. A traditional massage identifies the root cause of skeletal muscular issues as a result of physical injury or lifestyle. This treatment focuses on emotions as the root cause.
Why is a massage therapist involved?
State law requires that any treatments involving bodywork is to be facilitated by a Licensed Massage Therapist. NEUROLEASE ™ involves tactile processing.
IT’S NOT ALL IN YOUR HEAd…
This treatment focuses on the nervous system behind aches, pains and muscle tension, which contribute to physical ailments. When you feel better emotionally, the body moves towards proper alignment, mobility and peak performance.
WHAT DO MY EMOTIONS HAVE TO DO WITH MY BODY?
When the body mis-fires the involuntary nervous system, it triggers a false alarm. As a result, one either over-reacts or under-reacts to a situation. This is a problem.
WHY ARE YOU FOCUSED ON THE PARASYMPATHETIC NERVOUS SYSTEM?
The parasympathetic state is when the body is actually able to repair and restore.
Although the sympathetic state is a vital part of survival, the key factor lies in the ability to flow between the two states: sympathetic and parasympathetic.
WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF THIS TREATMENT?
Your mind will be clear. Your body will be grounded. Most people report triggers are eliminated or significantly reduced. Your mind will be clear. Your body will be grounded. "For the first time I feel like myself."
WHAT IF I DO NOT LIKE TO BE TOUCHED?
Leave that up to us. It is our job to help you work through this.
WHAT HAPPENS AFTER THE TREATMENT?
We ask you to hydrate and listen to your body.
Many clients report feeling a sense of relief and a strong need to take a nap. Too often people confuse taking a nap or relaxing with laziness or depression. This is not the case when the body is in the parasympathetic state. This is the time when you want to maximize the treatment and allow the continued repair and restoration to occur.
DO YOU WORK WITH CHILDREN AND ADULTS?
We have experience in working with people of all ages.
WHAT TO WEAR?
Adults may dress down to their comfort level.
Minors are required to wear a shirt and shorts.
WHO IS PRESENT DURING THE COMBINED SESSION?
The massage therapist and counselor are both in the treatment room. A parent or guardian must be present with any minor children.
DO I NEED TO PREPARE OR BRING ANYTHING?
No, just a picture ID for the intake session.
WHAT IF I FALL ASLEEP?
Sometimes when clients first experience this treatment, they may fall asleep. This happens because the body has been working hard to maintain balance. The client may be experiencing adrenal fatigue.
